PhD Training

Passion for Knowledge festival will include a training activity/session for PhD students, organized within the framework of the Summer Courses of the University of the Basque Country in collaboration with Euskampus Fundazioa.

Postgraduate studies are placing increasing emphasis on the development of transversal skills, with the aim of ensuring that the professionals of the future are more versatile and have greater leadership skills in the scientific-technological field.

For any student wishing to pursue a career in research today, the development of these skills is absolutely vital. Not only prepare them to present and defend their work, also help them to foster scientific collaborations and disseminate the knowledge gained.

The student training day, scheduled within the framework of the festival, will bring together PhD students from all scientific disciplines in our ecosystem and some of the top scientists invited, to share impressions on science research and its social aspects. The guest scientists will also offer the students their personal insight on how to develop their research careers.
