Video summary of Wednesday 04/10
Day 3 of the Passion for Knowledge (P4K) festival began with the inauguration of the Inclusive Astronomy exhibition, designed above all to enable people with visual, hearing, cognitive or mobility disabilities to participate. In the afternoon session, the series of lectures began with Francesca Ferlaino, an expert in quantum technologies; her lecture was followed by that of María Vallet-Regí, a pioneering researcher in biomaterials, and afterwards by that of Jean-Marie Lehn, Nobel laureate in Chemistry. To end the day, the Passion for Knowledge festival offered a new session of Bertso Passion, which has already become a must-have for the festival; it featured some of the current best bertsolaris (extempore Basque verse makers) who had gathered together to tickle the senses of the audience.

Highlighted activity!
The dynamic format of short talks characteristic of the NAUKAS will once again be immersing the Victoria Eugenia theatre in a fresh edition of Naukas Passion. In it Javier Pelaez will be the presenter during the two consecutive days that have been scheduled for Passion for Knowledge. Humour is guaranteed, and so is the scientific rigour of the presentations.
Did you know...?
the STROM-Inclusive Astronomy exhibition will be open to the public until 31 October on the Third Floor of Tabakalera? Through interactive and multisensory experiences, the general public will be able to understand basic concepts of astronomy and learn about the frontier research in the field of astrophysics that is being carried out in the Basque Country. A key aim of the exhibition is to ensure access for people with disabilities, especially those with visual and hearing impairments and reduced mobility.
